Keep in His Love

Good morning friends,

I’ve just sat down for my first paid coffee of the week! Each Friday I take a moment to review the week and make sure I’ve tied up any loose ends (or remembered to reply to emails!) I like to take notes of my week to evaluate where I am and this gives me the inspiration to be thankful and hopeful! Each week I have a theme and I build my prayers and actions around that theme as much as I can. This week was Jude v20-21

But you, dear friends, by building yourselves up in your most holy faith and praying in the Holy Spirit, keep yourselves in God’s love as you wait for the mercy of our Lord Jesus Christ to bring you to eternal life.

This led me to write a poem, reminding me where to put my mind each morning as I wake.

On Monday we began session four of our mentoring course; all about the teenage brain. I am so excited for these trainee mentors, and for the young people who will benefit from meeting with them. Pray as they learn and eventually step out as mentors that they would keep in His love.

Sick_Emoji_Icon_2_largePlease continue to pray for Lise who has a chest infection and for energy for Lou as she goes about her day. Thank you, God, that you are our strength and healer, please build us up and keep us in your love.

This week I found myself praying for the young people that I meet on a regular basis, that they would know his peace in the specific areas of their lives that we are talking through.

I have been praying too for the meetings I have with teachers and schools, that we would be of benefit to the pupils we meet and that God would provide opportunities for us to bring His Kingdom in.

The One Hundred (2)

This week two more people joined The One Hundred choosing to be GLOW GIVERS! They will receive a regular update from us regarding secondary school self-esteem programmes and mentoring. If you would like to know more about our journey and vision for the future then we posted an article from our Annual Celebration here

We are also very thankful to The Archbishop’s School who have Dedication today and have chosen CCSWT as their collection charity.

We are so thankful to all that God is doing and ask that you would pray that we too continue to build ourselves up in faith, and keep ourselves in His love

∼ Lou
