Now, our God, we give you thanks, and praise your glorious name.
1 Chronicles 29:13

I can’t believe we are sliding into the second half of November already! This week has gone so quickly and it has been a week of much celebration!

We are pleased to announce that all of our trainees on our Mentoring Course have ‘passed’ and we have already started to sort out their placements in school. They will all be starting over the next two weeks so please be praying for their confidence and for a smooth transition into the actual practice of mentoring! We are so thankful for their commitment and for God providing a venue, a quick turnover of DBS and  open doors into four schools.  Congratulations to all our new mentors!

On the subject of mentoring we are also saying congratulations to 20 sixth form pupils at Archbishops School and 8 sixth form pupils at Canterbury High. All have been trained as Peer Mentors and are starting to pair up with Year 7’s next week. We are thankful to God for the opportunity to work with these young people.

We are also thankful for Rob at Hope Community Church who is enabling us to put a video trailer together for the work that we do in schools! We are very excited to see this project go ahead! This is an answer to a long prayed prayer!

Finally we are thankful that we have our 4th One Hundred Giver! He has asked to be a Believe Booster – praying for the incredible work in our Primary Schools to be expanded and reach many more children in need. Thank you!

This year we are looking for 100 pledges of £10 a month that will increase the scope of our work especially in Primary Schools. To find out more click here
